Car rental is the best option to discover the Costa Blanca, as public transport is limited. To avoid troubles – which always is the biggest fear when renting a car – we suggest to choose ‘fair fuel policy’ and ‘excess cover’ as an option. Without excess cover own risk is significant.
Don’t forget to opt for ‘in terminal’, to be sure you can pick-up the car at the arrival hall. And last but not least … make sure that the credit card you book with is the driver’s one. Otherwise you might not get the car with you.
Some good options are Easy Terra, which is an online platform. In general they provide the best rates; especially when booked in advance. Two other options are Giner cars in Benissa or Victoria Cars. They often have good rates for a second driver and other options. All provide pick-up at Valencia airport and Alicante airport.
